Roles and responsibilities

• Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the construction site;

• Operate forklifts, skid steers, and other construction machinery;

• Manage site stock and inventory;

• Address the needs of employees, the foreman, and the site supervisor;

• Handle the receipt of deliveries and orders;

• Load and unload construction materials and place them in work areas;

• Assemble and dismantle various structures on construction sites (concrete formwork, scaffolding, walkways, etc.);

• Mix, pour, and spread materials (concrete, asphalt, etc.);

• Operate equipment (hammers, vibrators, pneumatic rammers, etc.) according to instructions;

• Assist qualified personnel in performing their duties;

• Assist in demolishing buildings and sorting, cleaning, and stacking salvaged materials;

• Direct traffic on the construction site.

Required skills

• Hold a valid CCQ card for your occupation;

• Hold a valid ASP Construction card;

• Several years of experience working on large-scale sites;

• Good command of reading plans, diagrams, drawings, and sketches;

• Autonomy and resourcefulness;

• Communication and teamwork.
